A growing rental company located in Glendale CA is looking for a staff accountant to join to their small accounting team.
What you will do:
Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
Assist in maintaining general ledger accuracy and integrity
Support the preparation of financial statements and reporting packages
Help track and reconcile fixed assets and depreciation
Assist with audit requests and documentation
Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies
What You'll Bring:
2-4 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in Excel; experience with QuickBooks Online
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
