Top Paying Century City CPA Business Management Firm is seeking a qualified Tax Accountant to join a team of professionals in an atmosphere of collaboration and teamwork. Clients include small business, real estate owners and developers, entertainment individuals and companies, and high net worth individuals.
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
$95,000-$200,000/year depending on experience

Responsibilities:
Prepare and review of complex Individual, Partnership, Corporate, Trust and Estate tax returns and managing work flow.
Prepare amended Federal and State Income Tax Returns for Individuals and Small Businesses and corporations.
Present completed tax returns to clients to confirm accuracy and full client understanding.
Prepare annual 1099’s for small business clients to provide to their vendors.
Prepare Personal Property Tax Returns for small business clients with tangible business assets.
Review tax returns prepared by other staff members for accuracy.
Review client tax notices and correspondence audits and provide recommended next steps.
Assist clients with resolving tax notices and correspondence audits by the IRS and other taxing authorities.
Work independently or with Client Service Coordinators to respond to client communications and other service requests.
Prepare tax projections to assist clients and their advisors with tax planning.
Understanding client’s tax situation and advise clients on the tax consequences of their financial decisions.
Consult with clients to develop a basic understanding of their financial affairs and the scope of their tax liabilities.
Provide client education and advice on income tax-related issues.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
3+ years of recent tax accountant experience working within a CPA firm
Experience with Individual, Partnership, Corporate, Trust, Estate tax returns and managing workflow
Must be able to handle 100+ returns per year
Proficient in QuickBooks
