Voge Inc, well stablished Restoration business with 20+ years of experience, looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Estimator to cover Los Angeles and Ventura County
The Estimator role is critical for the success of a restoration company, as they are responsible for creating estimates in Xactimate utilizing the program guidelines and IICRC standards. They must be detailed oriented and understand insurance restoration industry. Restoration Estimators work with owners and insurance professionals after events such as a fire or water loss to clean up and perform mitigation services to residential and commercial property. As a Restoration Estimator, you will be provided with accurate scope of work by the technician on site, then prepare estimate and gather necessary documentations. You will build relationships with insurance professionals and communicate with property owners the expectations to build the structure back to its original form.
Xactimate experience is an essential requirement of this job. If you do not have experience with this software, you will not be considered for this position. Additionally, we require candidates to demonstrate knowledge of the software as a part of the candidate screening process.
Having a basic construction background which includes basic understanding of building materials, flooring and other materials affected by wind, water, fire, smoke, and other property damage causes will assist in being successful in this position.
