Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to oversee storage facility operations for our multi-family property management business. In this role, you will manage the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of critical goods, including maintenance supplies and property furnishings. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in inventory management, a proactive mindset, and the ability to maintain smooth operations to support our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records using specialized software.
Conduct regular physical counts and resolve discrepancies.
Monitor stock levels and create purchase orders for replenishment.
Storage Facility Operations:
Manage receipt, organization, and secure storage of inventory.
Implement best practices for inventory management and safety protocols.
Ensure storage areas are clean, organized, and efficient.
Logistics and Coordination:
Coordinate with property management teams for timely deliveries and restocking.
Oversee scheduling and execution of deliveries and pickups.
Maintain documentation for all inventory movements.
Quality Control:
Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
Report and resolve issues with damaged or missing items.
Ensure the storage facility meets high standards of cleanliness.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare detailed inventory reports for management.
Analyze inventory trends to identify inefficiencies.
Provide recommendations for improving inventory management.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Lead safety training sessions and conduct regular drills.
Keep records of safety inspections and corrective actions.
Qualifications:
Fluency in Spanish is required.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in inventory management or a related field, ideally within property management.
Skills:
Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary.
High attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
Understanding of health and safety regulations related to inventory management.
Working Conditions:
Regular physical activity, including lifting and moving inventory.
Primary work environment will be in a warehouse, with occasional visits to property sites.
