The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee all warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity. Responsibilities include supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes, preparing relevant documentation and ensuring the quality of goods both incoming and outgoing. Additionally, this person will liaise with customers and suppliers and ensure that safety regulations are met. This person should have a commitment to getting tasks completed and a hands-on approach to work. An outstanding Warehouse Lead should be a role model for “IMPAK HUSTLE”, helping reach team goals to drive safety, efficiency, accuracy and speed and to ensure the team is never idle. A successful candidate is dependable and has excellent organizational and time management skills. This position reports directly to the CEO of the company and shares a management team position with two other individuals with over 25+ years of experience at the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Direct or via staff.)
Manage warehouse staff and activities with an eye for “IMPAK HUSTLE”, quality and safety
Manage, evaluate, and report on warehouse productivity
Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials
Keeping track of warehouse supplies and inventory levels and order supplies in a timely manner
Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory and deliveries for accuracy
Receiving inventory into accounting software in a timely and accurate manner
Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary
documentation
Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts;
inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations
Help develop and hold team accountable to high standards of quality, efficiency, accuracy and
safety
Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse and grounds for compliance to standards
Coordinating and assisting in maintaining facility and equipment where appropriate
Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers
Organize and maintain inventory and stock control
Batch EOD of orders (requires removing items from inventory that were shipped)
Making inventory adjustments to accounting software
Creating BOM (Bill of Materials) in Sage software for items shipped
Sending out tracking information to customers on a daily basis
Responsible for all RMA paperwork from start to finish (Return Material Merchandise)
Ensure that the storage areas and the warehouse are kept clean and tidy, which includes
identifying areas where processes could be improved and work practices amended
Assist with recruiting and training of new employees
Monitor the performance of staff and raise any issues or further training requirements to the
employees
Communicate with customers and vendors with any issues on deliveries
Processing of paperwork to include shipping labels, BOL’s, COC’s, Commercial Invoices, and
shipping quotes for the sales department
Ensuring that all employees are using the proper safety equipment at all times
Qualification Requirements
BA in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent work
experience in a warehouse environment
Customer Service and leadership Skills
Good communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills
Attention to detail
Dependable and Reliable
Inventory, Equipment maintenance, basic data entry and computer skills required
Salary: $72K - 80K DOC (depending on capability, not experience which we feel is more important) If you are not qualified, or do not yet have the capabilities to be at the top end of the salary level, it is easily attainable within 12-16 months for a hardworking, motivated individual.
