Job Description:
We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily transactions and ensuring our small lobby is clean, welcoming, and well-stocked for our customers. After receiving a service ticket, customers will bring it to you to pay for their car wash, then relax in our lobby for 15-25 minutes while their vehicle is cleaned. Our lobby also offers snacks, drinks, and auto accessories for purchase, which you'll help manage.
Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Note: This is a part-time position with a consistent weekday schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
-Greet and assist customers with a warm, welcoming attitude
-Handle cash and operate our Point of Sale (POS) system
-Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and lobby
-Monitor inventory levels, restock items as needed, and ensure the lobby is always well-supplied
-Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience
Skills/Qualifications:
-Minimum 1 year of cashier experience
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
-Comfortable standing for extended periods
-Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
