Temp to Hire Inside Sales/Customer Service position available with this manufacturing company.
Mon-Friday 8am-5pm, $21-$22/hr. Must be able to pass a pre employment background screening.
This position requires interaction with customers and will be responsible for effectively managing business activity on a daily basis. Establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers to generate sales. Individuals in this position will gain a strong understanding of our customers, products, processes and systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Performs quotation processing over the phone, email and fax.
Enter orders into the system and confirm orders to customer via email/fax.
Process shipping instructions and packing lists to warehouse.
Filing orders and checking customer’s open orders.
Back up billing role for the office and other branches when necessary.
Support outside sales inquiry needs. (Stock and price check, open orders)
Process quotation for outside sales.
Process internal transfers
Other additional tasks may be assigned.
COMPUTER:
Intermediate level use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
COMMUNICATION:
Strong interpersonal skills (both oral and written) with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
with sensitivity to cultural diversity.
