Position Overview
The Insurance Agent / Service Representative will play a dual role in our agency—providing excellent customer service to existing clients while also assisting with sales and policy growth. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a small business environment where teamwork and flexibility are key.
Key Responsibilities
Provide friendly, professional support to clients via phone, email, and in-person.
Process policy changes, billing inquiries, and claims support.
Assist with quoting and selling auto, home, and other personal/business insurance products.
Proactively follow up with leads and cross-sell existing accounts.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in agency management systems.
Build positive relationships with clients to encourage renewals and referrals.
Qualifications
Previous insurance experience.
Property & Casualty license.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable with computers and able to learn agency software.
Highly organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
Sales experience a plus.
