Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Operations Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and assist in the smooth operation of daily activities.
Responsibilities
· Fills out the daily pickup sheet.
· Receives new deliveries orders.
· Communicate with customers concerning shipments.
· Sends out POD’s.
· Checks drivers in during the morning.
· Checks the GPS system between 6:00AM and 3:00PM, communicates any issues to the Dispatch manager.
· Collects previous days shipment and pickup paperwork.
· Completes the inbound log daily.
· Consolidate the billing for Customer Service.
· Uploads next day orders into Dispatch Trak.
· Communicates with client’s delivery and service schedule.
Experience
- Proven experience in administrative roles or similar positions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with phone systems and customer service practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with DocuSign is a plus
