Afterschool Teacher – Rshtuni Academy (Glendale, CA)
Rshtuni Academy is seeking a caring and dependable Afterschool Teacher to work with children ages 7–13. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Armenian, enjoys working with kids, and can create a safe, structured, and fun learning environment.
Responsibilities include:
Helping students with homework in reading, writing, math and more
Leading enrichment activities such as arts, music, dance, STEM, robotics, and sports
Supervising playtime and encouraging positive social skills
Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children
Qualifications:
Experience working with children in education or childcare preferred
Strong classroom management skills
Reliable, enthusiastic, and patient
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Fluent in Armenian
Schedule:
Part-time, weekday afternoons. Pay based on experience.
