Archimedes Academics is seeking highly experienced test prep tutors (HSPT, ISEE, SAT, ACT, etc.) based in the greater Los Angeles area for tutoring positions starting ASAP. Tutors must be able to meet with students both in-person and online via Zoom. This position will require you to go in-person to students' homes in the Pasadena, Glendale, and La Cañada areas.
It's okay if HSPT prep is new to you, but you must be an expert in middle school math and language skills to apply to this position. The HSPT is a high school entrance exam for 8th graders. Tutors will be trained in company's best practices for HSPT prep. It would be wonderful if applicants were also able to tutor the SAT and ACT or additional subjects. All test prep sessions are a minimum of 1.5 hours. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree or higher and a background check will take place.

Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week
Flexible schedule for after-school hours Monday-Friday. We also have students who meet with us during the weekend.
