Job Title: Experienced Nanny
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and caring nannyto provide exceptional care and support for our family, which is primarily based in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for nurturing our child and assisting with various family needs, both at our home base and during our travels. This is a wonderful opportunity for a compassionate and professional individual to become an integral part of our family and accompany us on our exciting adventures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for our child, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Engage in age-appropriate activities and playtime to promote the child's development and learning
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the child, considering any dietary restrictions
- Accompany the family on outings and activities, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all
- Provide additional support to the family as needed, such as running errands or assisting with household organization
- Maintain flexibility and adaptability to travel with the family for extended periods, including stays in Paris, NYC, and other locations
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly rate: $30-32/hour, open to cash or payroll arrangements
After 9 hours time and a half
- Daily travel fee of $100, in addition to coverage of groceries and meals when accompanying the family
- Housing, transportation, and activities with the child/family covered during travels
- Long-term stays in other cities: Live-in accommodation with own bedroom and bathroom, or a mutually agreed monthly stipend with assistance in arranging suitable living arrangements
- Overnight care: $150/night during sleeping hours, with an hourly rate for any awake time, assuming the child sleeps through the night
- Guaranteed hours: 40/week
- Weekly schedule: Typically Mon-Fri, 7 to 10-hour days ending by 7pm, with flexibility for 1 or 2 late nights or overnights per week, and 2-3 weekend days per month
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a nanny with a strong understanding of child care and development
- Genuine passion for working with children and providing a nurturing and stimulating environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Willingness to undergo a background check
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to changing schedules and environments
