Position: Part-Time Homeschooling Teacher
Location: West Torrance
Hours: 3 days a week - Flexible (10:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
Start Date: Sept 5, 2024
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in subjects like math, language arts, and science
Tailor instruction to meet each child's individual learning style and pace.
Create a nurturing and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
Incorporate hands-on activities, crafts, and outdoor exploration to enhance the learning experience.
Communicate regularly with parents to discuss progress and adjust learning plans as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience in teaching or homeschooling, especially with children aged 6-9.
Strong understanding of early elementary curriculum and child development.
Patience, creativity, and a love for working with children.
Ability to create a structured yet flexible learning environment
