Position: Part-Time Math and English Tutor
Location: Koreatown, Los Angeles
Compensation: $30-$50 per hour
Are you passionate about teaching and helping students achieve their full potential? Our fast-growing tutoring center in Koreatown is seeking dedicated Math and English tutors for elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized instruction in English and Math.
- Develop engaging and effective lesson plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for teaching and student success.
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university.
- Previous tutoring experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proof of ACT or SAT scores.
- For English Tutors: Major in Literature, AP literacy score, or related English language studies.
- For Math Tutors: Major in Math, Science, or proof of AP Calculus/Statistics scores.
- Experience with students with special needs (e.g., autism, learning disabilities).
