Part-Time Choreographer for Spring Middle School Musical
Be a part of a creative and committed production team! Choreographer will collaborate with the show's co-director to design and teach choreography during all musical rehearsals. During one of the director's maternity leave, starting the beginning of April, Choreographer will be responsible for finishing any remaining choreography teaching, as well as cleaning existing dance numbers and polishing the show prior to performance. Choreographer will be working on a team of three teachers from end to end.
Experience teaching dance to kids is required. Experience teaching ages 12-14 preferred. Experience in directing musicals preferred.
Rehearsal Days/Times Feb 27th-May 3rd:
Tuesdays: 1-3pm
Thursdays: 1-3pm
Fridays: 8:15-9:15am (potentially longer)
Week of May 6th: Additional time likely beyond regular rehearsal hours, as agreed upon in advance
Show Week:
May 13th: 12-3pm
May 14th: 12-5:30pm
May 15th: 12-5:30pm
May 16th: All Day, Matinee Show at 1:30pm, evening at 6:30pm
Prep hours are available as agreed upon. Pay commensurate with experience.
