We have two boys, ages 5 and 9, who attend Sierra Madre Elementary. They’re kind, curious kids who genuinely enjoy school. For the past few years, our 9-year-old has been receiving extra tutoring at home through a homeschool curriculum we love, and we recently started our 5-year-old on the same program.
As my wife shifts more of her focus to her career, we’re looking for someone who can step in to support their learning. The role involves picking the boys up from school Monday through Thursday, driving them just four blocks to our home, helping them with their homework, and then continuing with the additional studies they’re already used to. School ends at 12:15 on Mondays and 2:35 from Tuesday through Thursday. It would be two hours a day, four days a week, for $30 an hour.
We’d love to find someone who enjoys tutoring and cares deeply about education. Experience tutoring and working with kids is highly preferred.
