Nature's Edge Child Development Center is a Reggio-inspired, play-based preschool program located in Long Beach. We plan to hire a qualified preschool teacher immediately.
Job description:
- Able to work 30-35 hrs
- 6-12 Early Childhood Education Units or enroll in ECEC classes
- Must be Flexible and have a passion for working with children
- At least 3-6 month experience. If you don't have experience, we can hire you as a paid intern
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Fingerprints Cleared
- TB Clearance -Excellent computer Skills (Word and Excel)
- If the applicant has completed 3 Childcare Administration units, it will be considered as bonus points
Duties in the classroom:
- Follow Lesson Plans/age-appropriate curriculum for children
- Closely work with the other Teachers in the classroom
- Must be a Team Worker with excellent communication skills
- Energetic and must have a passion for working with little children
- Indoor and outdoor Supervision of children
- Supervisions of lunch and snack
- Help with potty training and diaper changing
- Organized and updated the classroom, including bulletin boards
- Lite Housekeeping, including cleaning children's classroom, toilet, and outside
