Kassirer Sports is run by a former professional Wimbledon tennis player.
We are Hiring Tennis and Basketball Coaches to teach after school classes. Classes are for youth ages 6-10 at Redondo Beach elementary schools on Monday and Friday on 2:25pm-3:40pm. We are also hiring pickleball coaches to teach in Glendale Monday - Friday for 2-3 hours shifts in the afternoons.
We are hiring coaches to start in September.
We also need youth sports coaches in South Pasadena, Diamond Bar, Walnut, Chino Hills and all over Orange County.
Requirements to Coach:
-18 years of age or older
-Have your own transportation
-Skilled athlete in sport you want to coach.
-Positive, Patient, enthusiastic demeanor
-Punctual and able to commit to 8 - 12 week sessions.
-Enjoys being around kids and is confident in managing a group of 6-10 kids
-No coaching experience required; if you are 20 years of age or older.
(if you are 17-19 you must have some experience working with youth)
-Available to work a consistent weekly schedule in the afternoons
-Clear DOJ finger printing with no priors
We Provide:
-training on how to run after school classes and lesson plans
-kid sized equipment
-all admin
-rosters
-schedules based around your availability (minimum 1.25 hour shifts)
Pay:
-$36-$40 per hour depending upon experience.
-Coaches are hired as part time employees Coaches earn 1 hour of Paid Sick Leave for every 30 hours working.
-We pay out Sick Leave as a bonus at the end of the year, if it's not taken.
-Coaches are paid by direct deposit every 2 weeks.
-Reimbursement for Live Scan finger printing which is required prior to starting
-Option: if you own a company, we can hire your company to provide coaches (you and any others) as an independent contractor.
This is a great job for someone looking for part time hours in the afternoon such as a college student or a full time coach, or a trainer, or anyone with early afternoon availability. We run throughout the school year. and are off for school holidays and summer.
