Position: Associate/Project Engineer with Civil/Structural education background.
About: Established 1988 Engineering office located in Woodland Hills, CA, offers long term employment to grow together. Opportunity for associate/project Engineer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Perform vertical and seismic analyses of structures.
Ability to design one story and multi-story wood structures.
Ability to design concrete structures such as pools, structural slab, retaining walls.
Ability to design cantilevered steel columns with grade beams and steel moment frames.
Ensure conformance to applicable engineering codes and standards as well as company policies and procedures.
Ability to mange projects.
Ability to mange the office.
Business expansion assistance ability.
The candidate will possess:
A four (4) year civil or engineering degree and or equivalent in experience.
An understanding of wood, steel, masonry and concrete designs.
Knowledge of computer programs such as Auto Cad, Enercalc, Retain pro, word, Excel.
This is an in office position. Office hours are M-F 9:00 AM to 6 PM. ONE hour lunch.
