We are a small engineering consulting firm looking to hire a Biomechanical Engineer. This is a full-time, hourly position with work hours from Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm. Our facility in Signal Hill features 10,000 square feet of office, laboratory, testing, warehouse and evidence storage space.
Duties and responsibilities:
Perform Accident reconstruction and biomechanical analysis.
Perform biomechanical analysis and injury analysis in relation to auto collisions, falls etc.
Conduct Slip/trip and fall analysis
In-office and out-of-the-office field investigations, including visiting and surveying crash sites and conducting vehicle inspections
Issue reports and provide expert testimony for the purposes of litigation
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements and Qualifications
Master of Science or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Professional Mechanical Engineer license a plus
Research experience in the field of Biomechanical Engineering and/or Accident Reconstruction is required.
Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD a plus
Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability and willingness to travel locally and nationally
