What does a CAD designer do?
You work with a CAD program and building plans to convert from paper to 2D computer models of the structural components. That design is the basis for the manufacturing of the building off site.
CAD experience and the ability to read plans are a must. A construction background would put you to the front. If you are a Engineer even better as this is good place to expose you to the industry.
If you pass training you would be offered a 3 year contract package.
Pay is based on ability. This is a job with a long and steady future with a well established team that has been a industry leader for over 25 years.
