We’re looking for a reliable, self-sufficient draftsperson with strong CAD and SketchUp skills (Enscape a plus) to support a steady mix of residential projects—from remodels to new builds. Most work is in Southern California. Remote, flexible hours; some overlap with Pacific Time preferred.
What you’ll do
Draft clean, well-organized plan sets from sketches/redlines (site, floor, roof, elevations, sections, details).
Build and iterate SketchUp models for massing/options and client visuals; Enscape renders a plus.
Produce permit-ready drawings aligned with local standards.
Convert field notes/as-builts into accurate CAD backgrounds.
Keep files tidy and consistent (layers, blocks/components, sheet naming).
What you bring
Proficiency in AutoCAD (or equivalent) and SketchUp Pro; Enscape experience preferred.
Residential experience (remodels, additions, ground-up).
Able to read/implement markups quickly and communicate clearly.
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable with deadlines.
How we’ll work
Remote delivery via shared drive.
Task-based assignments with clear scope, standards, and deadlines.
Paid test task for finalists to confirm fit and workflow.
