Is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a first-class team of engineers to help solve architectural challenges. Our client is looking for a candidate that enjoys collaboration. The ideal candidate should be able to administer, monitor, and deploy large scale data systems and services on AWS. Drive initiatives for upgrading and scaling our systems to enhance capacity, feature set, availability, reliability, and performance.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of system administration
3+ years of experience managing servers, networks and cloud infrastructure
Advanced in shell scripting and one other scripting language (Python or Ruby)
Able to identify and implement automation for repetitive tasks and requests
Knowledge in identifying and implementing automation for repetitive tasks and requests.
Desired Skills & Experience
Familiar with AWS (EC2, Route53, IAM, S3, Lambda)
Experience with Dockers and Kubernetes
Scripting languages - Python, Ruby, Bash, or NodeJS; with AWS SDK and REST experience
Proven ability to use configuration management tools (Puppet, Salt, Ansible, Chef
Data Engineering experience
