We’re looking for a hands-on electronics repair tech experienced with 1980s–1990s industrial and CNC electronics — especially Fadal control boards. You’ll be restoring legacy boards at the component level: CPU, memory, axis, I/O, and amplifier cards.
What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose and repair Fadal CPU, memory, axis, and amp boards.
- Work with TTL/CMOS logic, EPROMs, and analog servo circuits.
- Use scopes, meters, logic probes, and test fixtures.
- Replace obsolete components and rework through-hole and SMT PCBs.
- Keep accurate repair logs and documentation.
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid background in electronics troubleshooting (industrial, CNC, or similar).
- 5+ years experience or equivalent hands-on skill.
- Can read schematics and identify faults to the component level.
- Skilled soldering and diagnostic workbench abilities.
- Familiarity with Fadal boards (e.g., 1010, 1030, 1060, 1090) a big plus.
Bonus Skills:
EPROM programming, bench test setup, reverse-engineering old schematics.
Environment:
ESD-safe electronics lab. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs).
How to Apply:
Send résumé or contact info, plus a short note about your experience with older CNC electronics.
