SUMMARY

Partner is seeking a full-time field specialist / technician to support the Integrated Facilities Solutions team in our Southern California offices (Torrance, Irvine, Corona, Pasadena or San Diego)

The ideal candidate will be trained to perform the following:

Onsite Liaison

Balcony Inspection and Drilling

RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete and finalize specific project tasks according to deadlines and within budget

Communication with subject site representatives

Data compilation and organization

Ability to regularly travel by car or flight to job sites throughout the region for single day or multiple day trips

Conducting site reconnaissance, including sampling activities, if necessary

Effectively communicate project progress and issues with the Project Manager

Maintain communication with team members throughout the course of the project

Other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager associated with report deliverable schedule and plan

Identify and resolve issues with projects

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Excellent communication skills (internal and external)

Self-starter – able to, with minimal direction, determine steps needed to complete field tasks

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently

Proven ability to deliver a quality product on time

Satisfactory writing skills

Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team

Computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous field technician experience preferred.

Willingness to learn and earn appropriate certifications.

The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Able to travel local to regionally 90% of the time.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English

Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the phone

Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen

Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift.

Ability to lift 30 lbs. of equipment and carry to job site
