Job Description:
We are seeking a Land Surveyor to accurately mark property boundaries for our modular home installations. This role involves performing basic surveying tasks to ensure precise site measurements, which are critical for the proper installation of our modular homes. You will be an essential part of our construction team, ensuring that all site layouts are accurate and comply with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct site surveys to accurately mark property boundaries for modular home installations.
Use surveying equipment, such as GPS devices, total stations, and levels, to take precise measurements.
Prepare site maps and sketches based on survey data.
Collaborate closely with the construction team to provide accurate measurements and layout guidelines.
Ensure all surveying work adheres to local codes and regulations.
Report findings and measurements to project managers and assist in resolving any site discrepancies.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in land surveying or related fieldwork.
Basic knowledge and proficiency in using surveying tools and methods (e.g., GPS, total stations).
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in all measurements.
Good communication skills to work effectively with construction teams and project managers.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on job sites.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is a plus.
A valid surveyor's license or certification is preferred but not required.
