IMMEDIATE OPENING.
As an Injection Molding Maintenance Technician, you will be working hands on with
repairing molding machinery, support machinery, and performing preventative
maintenance on a regularly scheduled basis.
Job Functions:
Arrive at work on time.
Always wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production hours.
Perform Maintenance Mechanic activities that may include mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, robot, and PLC.
Read and interpret equipment manuals necessary to perform repairs to required machinery.
Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test repairs to ensure proper functionality.
Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, support equipment, and plant facilities.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, material handling equipment.
Detect faulty operations/machinery and report findings to the Maintenance Manager promptly.
Additional duties may be assigned as necessary by the Maintenance Manager
Perform Maintenance and repairs on Airconditioning systems and cooling systems.
Adhere to Process Map Documented JDPM-001-A.
Follow Polices and Procedures and Work & Safety Rules

Qualification:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years of experience (5 years preferred) performing maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and/or robotics systems.
Experience with Plastic injection molding
Understanding of the functionality of relays, motor contactors, motor starters, solid state relays, soft starts, and variable frequency drives
Familiarity with the operation and troubleshooting of PLC programming.
Ability to safely trace electrical circuits with a multi-meter and wiring schematic to find faulty components.
Experience in electrical distribution and machine controls ranging from 24 to 480 volts AC/DC
Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot using schematic diagrams.
Ability to perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Proficiency with using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Compliance with safety regulations and maintenance of clean and orderly work areas.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good time management and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work weekends and overtime as required.
Knowledge of best practices, ordinances, and safety standards by OSHA
Must have a valid Driver's License to operate a forklift
Good communication skills.
Good English reading and writing skills.
