Key Responsibilities:
Candidate will be working autonomously to integrate automated equipment on machine tools (Computer controlled metal cutting machines). The ideal person will be responsible for customizing programs for the customer's specific automated process. Training customer's personnel on the newly installed equipment is a vital part of your job.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
This is a hands on opportunity with physical demands. Qualified individuals should be bright, energetic and hard-working and comfortable working in a flexible environment. It is imperative that the candidate have excellent algebra and trigonometry skills and will be tested for those skills. Regional travel required 80% of the time. (i.e.: CA, WA, OR, AZ, CO)
The successful applicant for this role will be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
The applicant should also express exceptional communication skills, as you will be interfacing with outside specialty shops and involved in training end-users on how to operate the equipment and programs.
Logical problem solving and troubleshooting skills are required.
Interest in auto mechanics, robotics, mathematics, blueprint reading, computers, metalworking, and drafting are a major plus.
