Job Details
We are in need of a very high level and experienced Platform Architect that can help us architect/design, build and deploy the next major version of our platform.
Building PaaS scalable systems and understand how they interoperate with one another
Minimum 10 years of Software architecture and design
Designed and implemented large scale enterprise systems into the Cloud
Designed and deployed
Thorough knowledge of AWS tools/systems/services (CDK, Pipelines, ECS, ECR, Fargate, EC2, S3, Lambda, AppSync, etc), preferably with some AWS Certification
Great at mentoring and sharing with other engineers
Strong coding skills with Ruby on Rails, Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, and/or Java
Extensive database and data model experience
Deep systems and networking knowledge
Deep understanding of security at all levels within the infrastructure (network, system, software, database)
Able to diagram or draft schematics for the entire platform in various forms (UML, system topography, data flow, Use Case, Sequence, etc)
Experience with PCI DSS and other types of system audits
Highly motivated with drive to want to constantly improve yourself and the team
Open minded in hearing and discussing alternative solutions
