We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Casework Estimator. As a Casework Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately forecasting costs and deadlines for casework projects. You will work directly with our design, and technical fields to ensure that our clients receive precise and competitive quotations while the company remains profitable. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to function as a project manager.
Key responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with sales and design teams to examine project specifications and create comprehensive estimates.
2. Examine blueprints, drawings, and other project materials to assess material and labor needs.
3. Investigate and obtain costs for materials.
4. Create and provide detailed cost estimates to clients, including labor, material, and administrative costs.
5. Review and negotiate contracts and pricing with clients as necessary.
6. Manage projects from start to finish and resolve any issues that may arise.
To ensure accuracy and efficiency, estimating procedures should be continuously evaluated and improved.
Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in estimating, preferably in casework or construction.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities.
- Proficient in estimating software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to multitask and prioritize tasks successfully in a deadline-driven situation.
- Willingness to take charge and drive results in a new territory.
