General Statement of Job:
We are actively looking for a Senior Lighting Project Designer to lead the entire lifecycle of multiple residential projects. In this role, you will utilize your skills in design, strong communication, and a mix of independent and collaborative approaches to guarantee successful project execution from start to finish. Immediate opening available.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead projects through different developmental phases.
- Collaborate closely with clients and project stakeholders to understand project goals and deliver exceptional results.
- Maintain a holistic approach to lighting design, considering both aesthetic and technical aspects.
- Provide technical support during construction administration, ensuring project success.
- Oversee the construction phase of lighting projects, ensuring adherence to design intent and specifications.
- Collaborate with contractors and installation teams to address on-site challenges and modifications.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure proper installation of lighting systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the construction phase.
- Demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation, adaptability, and resourcefulness
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience with a focus on comprehensive residential lighting design process
- Highly proficient with AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, lighting design software, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills for effective team collaboration.
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Experience creating proposals and POs
