Position Overview:
Arc Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Temporary Site Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on a civil construction project in Santa Clarita. This role requires a hands-on professional who can coordinate closely with the Project Manager and maintain efficient site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily on-site civil construction activities
Coordinate all field operations with the Project Manager (PM)
Read, interpret, and implement construction plans and specifications
Prepare and submit daily field reports (labor, equipment, progress, issues)
Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, and material deliveries
Enforce jobsite safety, quality control, and productivity standards
Identify field issues and communicate resolutions promptly to the PM
Maintain organized and compliant jobsite operations
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Site Superintendent on civil construction projects
Strong ability to read and understand construction plans and specs
Experience with day-to-day field operations and reporting
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Ability to work closely with Project Management
Must have a reliable truck suitable for site access and daily jobsite use
Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
Preferred (Not Required):
Public works or municipal civil construction experience
Familiarity with daily reporting software or standardized logs
Employment Type:
