We are seeking a skilled Meat Trimmer / Butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation and cutting meat. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high food safety standards.
Job responsibilities:
- Trim, clean, slice and cut raw meat to prepare for production.
- Operate meat processing equipment such as knives, slicers, saws, and grinders.
- Verify that each item meets companies quality standards.
- Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, display and storage areas, supplies and utensils within work area.
- Desire and ability to follow general food safety practices.
- Able to stand and perform manual lifting.
- Able to rotate to different job duties if needed throughout facility.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Previous meat trimmer experience or similar to role.
- Knowledge of culinary tools and techniques, including use of knives.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work in a cold environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Pay Rate: $17 - $18/HR
Mon – Fri: 4AM (40HRS per week/Possible overtime)
