Position Summary
The AM Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch items according to Hilton Garden Inn brand standards. This position ensures high-quality food presentation, maintains cleanliness in the kitchen, and supports the culinary team in delivering an excellent guest dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items according to standardized recipes and portion controls.
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service begins.
Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner to meet guest expectations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with health and safety standards.
Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures at all times.
Assist with inventory control, minimizing food waste and ensuring freshness of all ingredients.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to management immediately.
Support the team in preparing for banquets, special events, or room service orders as needed.

Qualifications
Previous line cook or breakfast cook experience in a hotel or high-volume restaurant preferred.
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen equipment operation.
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Food Handler’s Certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Schedule
Shift: Morning (typically between 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM) (Off Thursday & Friday)
Status: Full-time or Part-time depending on property needs
