Position Summary
As Assistant Retail Manager for Schellz Pizza Co, you will be responsible for leading and operating the back of house team. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all team members work towards providing the best tasting pizzas, appetizers, salads, and desserts, on time and as promised. The Assistant Retail Manager will be responsible for the quality and execution for the full menu at Schellz Pizza Co.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Act as a team leader and motivator for the kitchen working closely and maintaining good relations with all team members
Represents the company in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner in all customer, client and employee interactions
Manage the line and perform cooking duties for normal retail operations
Delivers ongoing training, coaching, and ongoing team development
Manages timecards and schedules, when necessary
Maintains the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen according to state and local health guidelines and codes
Manages inventory levels, proper food handling practices and rotation to ensure product is maintained in accordance with local health and safety regulations
Maintains and develops recipes and production standards for all food items prepared and served at Schellz Pizza Co
Addresses violations and concerns in an effective timely manner
Ensures that equipment is clean and in working order
Responsible for complete set up, cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
