We’re seeking a talented Baker/Decorator to join our team and help us continue to set the standard for outstanding vegan baking.
Position Overview:
As a Baker/Decorator, you will be at the heart of our bakery, responsible for preparing, baking, and decorating a wide range of vegan pastries, cakes, and other baked goods. You’ll work closely with our team to ensure that each item meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Baking: Prepare and bake a variety of vegan baked goods, following recipes and ensuring consistency in quality.
Decorating: Skillfully decorate cakes, cupcakes, and other pastries to meet our artistic and customer-specific requirements.
Recipe Development: Assist in developing new vegan recipes and refining existing ones to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of taste, appearance, and hygiene in all baked goods.
Inventory Management: Manage ingredient inventory, ensuring that supplies are ordered and stored properly.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other bakery staff to coordinate production and meet customer orders.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in baking and decorating.
Creativity: Strong artistic skills with a passion for creating visually appealing and delicious baked goods.
Knowledge: Familiarity with vegan baking techniques and ingredient substitutions.
Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
