Job Title: Night Shift Baker - Full-Time Position
Location: CHAUMONT Commissary
Working Hours: 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Night Shift Only (5 days/week)
We are looking for an experienced baker to join our night team at Chaumont Commissary. As a night shift baker, you will play a vital role in creating high-quality French viennoiseries and other baked goods for our customers. This position offers a great opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic, supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Proof viennoiserie items such as croissants and chocolate croissants, utilizing proofing chambers to achieve optimal texture and flavor.
Bake a variety of items using convection and rotating ovens to ensure consistent quality and appearance.
Maintain high standards of quality, taste, and presentation in all baked goods.
Follow precise recipes and production processes to meet demand and quality expectations.
Ensure all products meet food safety and sanitation standards.
Work collaboratively with a small, dedicated team (5-6 people) to complete nightly production tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial bakery setting, preferably with a focus on French pastries.
Strong knowledge of French viennoiserie techniques is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
ServSafe certification is mandatory.
