We're a growing bake shop that offers signature and custom desserts based in Sherman Oaks. We're having so much fun and we're looking for a vibrant and experienced Baker on a part-time basis to join our amazing team.

Shifts are Monday through Saturday. Times may vary based on business needs.
Job Responsibilities:
-Mix, bake, and build a wide variety of standard and custom baked goods according to recipes and standard operating procedures including, but not limited to, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, brownies, icing, glaze, buttercreams, etc.
-Prepare icings according to recipes and decorate baked goods appropriately
-Make other desserts according to our standards
-Decorate cakes, cake pops, cupcakes, cookies and more
-Safely and appropriately use tools, equipment and appliances to prepare baked goods
-Clean and sanitize all equipment, work areas, containers and utensils to ensure health and safety requirements are met
-Develop and maintain professional communication with all staf
-Perform shifts, fulfill orders and complete production as scheduled
-Have an adaptable work style
-Be comfortable standing for entirety of shift
Job Requirements:
-Prior baking and decorating experience preferred
-Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the business including Saturdays
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Ability to perform physical requirements of this position (see below)
-Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other team members and leadership
-Legally eligible to work in the US
Physical Requirements:
-Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead
-Able to stand for extended periods of time
-Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds
Experience:
-Baking: 2 years preferred
-Must be able to safely utilize all bakery equipment
Operations:
- Store Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 11:00AM-5PM
- Weekend availability required
Job Type: Full Time 40hrs with pre-approved overtime available
