Barista Wanted
We’re looking for a friendly and energetic barista to join our team! If you have a passion for coffee, great customer service skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve high-quality beverages in a timely and engaging manner
- Accurately record purchases using our POS system, process payments, and apply discounts according to Chimney Standards
- Work with leadership to maintain quality control
- Complete necessary training promptly
- Mentor fellow baristas on quality expectations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Handle hot beverages with care and precision
- Clean and maintain coffee grinders, brewers, and espresso machines
- Organize and restock products as needed
- Identify and report safety hazards to Cafe Leadership
- Perform opening and closing tasks and follow checklists
- Participate in deep cleaning of the cafe on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Proactively maintain and improve the appearance of the cafe and coffee bar
- Sanitize and clean the cafe area throughout your shift
- Adhere to safe food handling practices and fulfill daily cleaning duties
- Prepare beverages to company standards
- Be proactive in identifying needs and issues within the cafe

Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Morning and weekend availability required; open availability preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliable work history

- Shifts: Day shift and morning shift
- Workdays: Monday to Friday with weekend availability required
- Work Location: One location
- Pay: Starting at $17.50 per hour + tips
