Chaumont Bakery located in Beverly Hills is looking for a Full Time Barista who has passion for creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We are renowned for our authentic French pastries and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and providing our customers with a delightful experience that keeps them coming back for more.
Position Overview: As a Barista at Chaumont Bakery, you will be at the heart of our operation, serving up expertly crafted coffee beverages and assisting in the presentation of our pastries. Your passion for coffee and dedication to customer satisfaction will ensure that every guest enjoys a memorable visit to our café.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and more, adhering to our high standards of quality and consistency.
Welcome customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
Operate coffee brewing equipment and maintain cleanliness and organization in the café area.
Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently.
Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Qualifications:
Availability from 6:00am to 4:30pm daily, and weekend availability is a must
Prior experience as a barista, food server, or in a similar customer service role preferred.
Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation.
A genuine passion for coffee and French cuisine.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, being a team player is a must.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Pay: $17.30 per hourly plus tips (our baristas average between $10-$12 per hour in tips)
