Tokyo Noir is a new cocktail bar on Long Beach’s Retro Row, combining the elegance of Tokyo’s meticulous cocktail culture with the casual, lively vibe of an izakaya. Our bar specializes in craft cocktails made with precision and care, and we pair our drinks with elevated, yet approachable small bites.

What We’re Looking For:

- We are seeking an experienced bartender with a passion for Japanese-style cocktails and an eye for detail. You will work in a dynamic setting where exceptional technique and service are paramount. Knowledge of classic cocktails and a creative approach to seasonal ingredients are a plus.

- We’re looking for a cocktail server who is passionate about hospitality and excited to learn about Japanese spirits and Tokyo-style cocktails. Your role will be key in delivering an excellent guest experience by connecting with patrons, recommending drinks, and ensuring they enjoy every moment of their visit.

Bartender Responsibilities & Requirements

Craft cocktails with a focus on precision, balance, and creativity

Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including proper glassware

Develop a deep understanding of our menu and provide guidance to guests on pairings

Keep up with Tokyo cocktail trends and innovations

Work closely with kitchen staff to maintain smooth service

Provide warm and attentive service, ensuring a memorable guest experience Qualifications:

2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume or craft cocktail setting

Knowledge of Japanese spirits (whiskey, sake, shochu) is a huge plus

Passion for cocktail innovation and Japanese culture

Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

A strong sense of hospitality and excellent communication skills

Cocktail Server Responsibilities & Requirements

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner

Know the cocktail and food menu inside and out, offering recommendations and pairings

Ensure timely service and anticipate guest needs throughout their visit

Deliver food and beverages with a focus on presentation

Communicate with the bar and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service

Handle payments and ensure a smooth close to every guest’s experience Qualifications:

1+ year of experience in a bar or restaurant setting, preferably in a cocktail-focused environment

A passion for cocktails, hospitality, and Japanese culture

Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication skills and attention to detail
