Cashier
We are a a fast-food restaurant in Santa Monica. We hire infrequently and we hope you will work here for years.
About the job:
Cashiers handle cash, receipts, and invoices. They will operate a POS System and meet the customer for most of their shift; they may do a half hour of paperwork, take inventory, and scan documents. May have to cook for half an hour some days to allow cook's break. Meet with The General Manager almost every day.
Scheduling:
Two day and three night shifts a week are available. Mon-Tues 7:45am to 3pm, Wed-Thurs 3pm to 10:15pm Fri 6pm to 2:30am.
Your choice of two, three or five shifts.
The successful candidate will:
Cut and paste their resume into the body of an email
Have a Food Handler’s Certificate
High School or equivalent.
Experience handling cash.
Experience cooking, though you will almost never have to cook.
Experience with inventory and ordering.
Strong English skills.
Spanish speaking a plus.
Compensation:
22 dollars an hour including tips. 23 dollars after 90 days.
