Beautiful restaurant, located on the border between El Segundo and Manhattan Beach, has immediate opening for a PART-TIME COOK/CHEF CONSULTANT.
Schedule is somewhat flexible, but being available Friday and Saturday nights is essential.
Candidate needs demonstrated ability to taste well, has knowledge of and interest in Mediterranean, Southeast Asian, and Latin cuisines; has solid sauté and grill skills, has the ability and desire to teach what he or she knows, desires to be an integral part of a team on a kitchen line, but is also looking for a job that is so much more than that; a kitchen manager, someone who is a natural leader, and someone who would like to contribute to the ongoing building of our concept.
The job is part chef consultant, part kitchen manager and part working chef.
