Located inside the beautiful Rancho Park Golf Course, Calfresco offers a great opportunity for anyone interested in joining our food and beverage operations.
We are looking for a Cook to join our incredible team. Past experience as cook, grill cook, line cook, or other experience in back of house of burger restaurants is highly desirable. The position can require long periods of standing, some walking, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepares hot food to order to set recipes following company standards
- Maintains a clean and sterile work environment without constant reminders
- Assists with inventory and management of goods
- Follow and update food orders on KDS
- Overall food safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Food prep, production, and packaging of all items served
- Maintaining the cleanliness, safe working conditions, and proper operation of all machinery and equipment
- Organizing and restocking dry storage areas, freezer, and coolers
- Perform all tasks and responsibilities to the best of your ability and with a sense of urgency
- Maintaining a positive attitude and assuming the best intentions of other team members and leaders
- Willingness to help and support other team members with their tasks and responsibilities
Position Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a source of reliable transportation
- Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, and kitchen utensils
- Must be able to work in hot, cold, noisy, and fast paced environments
- Must be able to work in small kitchen area
- Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently
- Must be able to use Square KDS
- Flexibility to work weekend, holiday, and evening shifts
- Serv-safe certification preferred
- Remain helpful, tactful, professional, and courteous at all times
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain focus to accomplish assigned duties with positive attitude
Physical Requirements
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion
- Reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist
- Stand for long periods of time, bend and twist, and frequently lift and or maneuver merchandise and supplies
- Walking to and from kitchen and customers
