Duties:
Prepare and cook food according to recipes, ensuring food safety and quality, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and collaborating with other staff in a fast-paced environment. Key duties include prepping ingredients, operating kitchen equipment, following health codes, managing inventory, and presenting dishes attractively.
Core Responsibilities:
Food Preparation:
Wash, weigh, measure, chop, and mix ingredients according to established recipes and company standards.
Cooking:
Cook a variety of dishes using different methods, such as baking, grilling, frying, boiling, and steaming.
Quality Control:
Ensure the freshness of ingredients and the quality of prepared dishes, making adjustments to taste and presentation.
Kitchen Operations:
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, equipment, and utensils, and properly store food to maintain freshness and safety.
Inventory & Stocking:
Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering new ingredients and supplies, and rotate stock to prevent spoilage.
Team Collaboration:
Work effectively with other kitchen staff, such as chefs and servers, to ensure efficient service and smooth operations.
Health & Safety:
Adhere strictly to food handling, hygiene, and safety regulations to prevent contamination and accidents.
Dish Presentation:
Plate and garnish food attractively to meet customer expectations and maintain the establishment's reputation.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
