Cook Needed for Cheese Smack Pop-Up (North Hollywood – Start ASAP – 1PM–7PM)
Description:
Cheese Smack is hiring a cook to join our pop-up in North Hollywood. We’re looking for someone dependable who can handle a fast-paced environment and help keep things running smooth.
Duties include:
Cooking and prepping menu items (chopped cheese, oxtail, etc.)
Helping set up and take down the tent
Driving or assisting with the van when needed
Keeping the work area clean and organized
Hours: 1 PM to 7 PM (day shift until the summer heat comes back)
Start Date: Need someone who can start by Wednesday — we’re getting ready for Oxtail Day next Saturday!
Requirements:
Must have prior cooking or food service experience
Valid driver’s license preferred
Must be able to lift 40–50 lbs (coolers, equipment, etc.)
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team
Pay: Competitive – depends on experience
