Job Title: Dishwasher
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
2. Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
3. Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
4. Sweep and mop kitchen floors to maintain cleanliness.
5. Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
6. Assist with unloading and storing deliveries.
7. Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
8. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
2. Ability to stand for extended periods.
3. Willingness to work in hot, humid environments.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
