Position: Hotel Executive Sous Chef
Compensation: up to $95k base DOE + 10% bonus, medical benefits and relocation assistance
The Property: Established luxury boutique property in a stunning Central Coast location seeking a strong #2 to oversee all hotel operations. This role will focus on overseeing an award winning farm-to-table restaurant sourcing from local purveyors and on-site gardens. Additionally the Executive Sous Chef will assist with banquet department as needed. The main kitchen services the restaurant, lobby bar, banquets, poolside dining and IRD.
The ideal Executive Sous Chef candidate:
- Is looking to plant roots and join a dedicated team
- Has worked in notable chef-driven restaurants at the management level
- Strong palate, highly creative and driven to push the envelope.
- Technique driven and abreast of of food and dining trends
- Has some hotel experience (preferred but not required)
- A team oriented leader with excellent organization and communication skills.
