Emmi's Sierra Madre is hiring for the position of Expediter / Food Runner.
We are a local, family owned restaurant that focuses on good food and warm, efficient service.
This position is paid $16.50/hr and is fully tipped.
Full time hours are available to successful candidates.
Shifts typically run from 8am-2:30pm, Wednesday - Sunday
Weekend availability is required (currently we are open 7:30am-2:30pm, 7 days per week)
Job Duties:
-set up and re-stock expo station daily for operational success - sauces, sides, packaging, etc.
-accurately and efficiently fill in-house, to-go and online orders as food is prepared
-run food to tables, or direct staff on running during times when there is a dedicated food runner
-bus tables and help customers as needed
-clean and closedown station after service, and prepare for the following service as needed
Job requirements:
-kitchen and/or restaurant service experience
-ability to read and converse in English (Spanish bi-lingual a plus)
-ability to maintain a cool head in high pressure scenarios
-warm customer service skills
-must be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time and lift 50 lbs
-work well within a team - this position works closely with both kitchen and service staff
