Qualifications
Prior barista & server experience is required for all applicants
Has excellent people/customer service skills
Must be skilled in operating and maintaining coffee equipment
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Previous experience in the food industry, catering, or restaurant setting is required
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Food Handler’s Certification is required for the state you will be working in or will obtain it within 30 days post-hire
Responsibilities
Maintains a clean and orderly workstation
Support your team by taking joy in the tasks that keep the cafe running smoothly. These tasks may include cleaning, clearing tables and washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, cleaning and organizing stations, and taking out trash.
Cashiering, take orders over the phone
Serve food; beverages to customers
Greeting guests and guiding them through our food, wine, and cocktail menus.
Taking orders and entering them into the POS system.
Understanding of fine dining techniques.
POS and iPad knowledge
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
End of shift, give a report and keep the station clean
